Video: Compressorhead — Robot Heavy Metal Band Plays Ace of Spades

anewdomain.net — Compressorhead is out with a new video cover of Motorhead’s Ace of Spades. Billing itself as the “world’s heaviest metal band,” Compressorhead is a band of recycled metal ’bots. It also performed Blitzkrieg Bop by the Ramones.

Not quite head-banging but close to it.

For fans of robot tech, Compressorhead is a band to follow. With multiple appendages and digits, the ’bots do make good music together.

Band members include drummer Stickboy with four arms and a double kick. It’s the oldest of the group. Stickboy was created by Robocross Machines.

Guitarist Fingers , a true rocker has 78 digits and was created by Kernschrott. Kernschrott’s projects are primarily sculptures and art from metal and devices.

Bassist Bones is new to the group.

The heavy metal trio just finished a tour in Australia’s Big Day Out and joined the Red Hot Chili Peppers and other bands.

Take a listen even if you’re not a heavy metal fan. For the groupies out there it’s Compressorhead.
